Chris Berry

Chris is the bass/baritone/lead in Ransomed. He is a licensed minister and former coordinator of the GMAA. He was born on March 23 in Dallas, TX and is an Army veteran, having spent time in Ft. Stewart, GA and Bamberg, Germany during the first Gulf War. He has served as music minister at two churches and was chaplain for the Crandall Police Department. Chris was the 2006 GMAA Group Male Vocalist. Chris preaches and has performed marriage ceremonies and funerals.

Chris has been married to Rhonda for 24 years and they have 5 children-Joe, Alan, Ricky, Austin, and Tresa; plus their niece-Shanna. Alan is currently serving in the Air Force in Italy, and as music leader and treasurer of his church there. Ricky is marriend to Jennifer, and is the youth minister of First Baptist Church in Crandall, TX. Jennifer has completed her bachelor's degree at Liberty University. Joe has been at Walmart for 4 years, and Austin is attending Eastfield College on a scholarship. Shanna is a senior. Tresa is the ambassador for Ransomed. Her smiling face and gentle spirit captures everyone's heart. Rhonda designs and maintains the group website and handles emails and some correspondence. You will usually find Tresa in the front seat at every Ransomed event, cheering them on. Chris and Rhonda are members of First Baptist Church in Forney, TX where Chris is also a member of the Praise team.
