Joe Gordon is the lead/baritone of Ransomed. He was born on Feb 21 in England, AR,
and has been a member of Ransomed since August of 2008. His many years of experience in Southern Gospel include time with The Ardens, New Life
Quartet, and Trusting Hymn. Joe has also been a successful solo singer, winning in both the SGMA of Texas and GMAA. Joe's television
appearances include The Jim Baker Show, Texas Country Gospel, and Claude Gray Music USA. Joe started Rodeo City Gospel Show in July of 2005.
Held on the first Friday of the month, the Gospel Show has grown dramatically over the years.
Joe has two sons, Jonathan and Ryan. Jonathan has 3 children, Alyssa, Blake, and Rylee. . Ryan is married to Amber and they have 2 sons, Landyn and Noah. He works for the Arkansas Dept of Corrections. Joe is a member of
Bethany Lighthouse in Garland, TX.
Joe's song, "A Moment of Grace" was released by Palmetto State Quartet in the fall of 2011 to rave reviews and debut high on the SG charts. In addition, he also has several other songs being considered by groups at the national level. Several of Joe's songs will be on Ransomed's next project, including "I Can See Heaven From Here".
