Steve Berry

Steve is the tenor in Ransomed. He was born on December 30 in Dallas, TX and is an army veteran. He did tours at Fort Benning, GA, Bosnia, Kuwait, and Haiti. He was also in the Army Reserves until July of 2001. Steve joined Ransomed in February of 2003. He sang with the Dawson-Ray Duo for several years before joining Ransomed, cutting his musical teeth on the Opry circuit. Steve is a licensed minister and preaches at his church on a regular basis. Steve's solo project was released in 2008, featuring songs written by our own Joe Gordon, Jimmy Duty of His Call, and himself.

Steve married Glenna on 7-7-07. They have three children-Rafael, Jennifer, and Kira. Rafael is busy with his own life, Jennifer is attending the University of Texas at Arlington looking forward to becoming a pre-med student, and Kira is in high school. Glenna handles alot of the administrative duties for Ransomed and makes the jewelry that graces the Ransomed table. She is also in charge of setting up the table with the beauty and grace she is well-known for. Steve and Glenna are members of Open Door Baptist in Grand Prairie, Texas.
