Steve is Ransomed's tenor, born on December 30 in Dallas, TX. He is an army
vet with tours in Bosnia, Kuwait, Haiti, and Fort Benning, GA. Steve joined Ransomed in February of 2003 after several years with
the Dawson-Ray Duo. Steve is a licensed minister. Steve's solo project was released in 2008 and
features several original songs by Joe Gordon, Jimmy Duty, and Steve himself. This project also includes tenor classics like "Oh, What a Savior".
Steve married Glenna on 7-7-07. They have three children-Rafael is married to Ansley, Jennifer is married to Devon, and Kira is married to Dylan and they are parents of Liam Alexander-born on November 9, 2011.Glenna handles the product table and some of the
administrative duties of the group. Steve and Glenna are members of Amazing Grace Fellowship Baptist Church,
Ransomed's home away from home.
Steve has written several songs, three of which will be on Ransomed's next project, including "Have You Thanked A Veteran".
